Defying Future Gravity

Mysteriously holding uncertainties and offering more than promising outlook, the future bleeds certain strength to which we are pulled into. Hold the doubt, the future gravity exerts its power to keep our rotation in track.

Although proper credit of formulating gravitation theory should be entitled to the work of scientists like Galileo and Newton, a different-yet-similar gravitational forces are here to be re-formulated. The scientists? It should be us. The quest, however, involves no mathematical expertise and requires only some time to trace our track of organising the future.

Without us really acknowledging its powerful influence upon present moment, the term future is commonly measured as something being affected by the present. What we do now will influence our future, they say. Although in fact, our actions, decisions, and even subconscious minds are architected with directional ambition in anticipation of better tomorrows. We think about the next word to write, the restaurant to reserve tonight, the five-year plan to perfect it, maybe even the end of our world to make it peaceful. Our mind has been set to produce the set of subsequent actions, be it the next five minutes or the next five weeks. In short, humans are very likely to direct every effort for a designated future.

Our actions, decisions, and even subconscious minds are architected with directional ambition in anticipation of better tomorrows.

This innate habit of considering “what’s next?” is never bad. It only proves that future holds a strong, influential power over our present—a reversal from the statement “Our present determines the future.” The state of mind hence takes a fast forward lane to the upcoming period, leaving the present filled with strenuous actions to achieve the utopia state. We study so we can work, we work so we can get money, we have money to create family, there goes a list of life cycle. This is a pattern we grow so accustomed to, that when we are off guard, the passion and motivation can transform to be futile devices effortlessly. The equation here is potentially unbalanced, only to be restored by putting the goals as priority, sharing same spot with the energy poured into them.

This is a pattern we grow so accustomed to, that when we are off guard, the passion and motivation can transform to be futile devices effortlessly.

To refine our future gravitational theory is to measure its strength. Future gravity that pulls so well you are dying to reach your goal is positive, while future gravity that blurs the line between wanting and having shall alert our thinking mechanism. Gravitational power that helps us being in the right orbit is essential, while the one that haunts the present with over-concerning future should be handed meticulously. So start jotting down the goals, arrange the “pull” it takes to manifest the dream, and direct your own present. After all, the power lies beneath your conscience.
